Data Scientist II, Experimentation

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Data Scientist II Experimentation to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $114,297 – $235,319 annually


Responsibilities

• Review existing literature to find methodologies that enhance our experimentation platform
• Streamline the process of setting up, running, and evaluating experiments for users
• Develop workflows to leverage experimentation meta-data for broader insights
• Collaborate with product data science teams to debug and improve their experimentation processes

Qualifications

• PhD in statistics, applied math, biostatistics, or 2+ years as a data scientist
• Direct experience with experimentation and contemporary methodologies
• Proficient in writing clean, scalable code for team collaboration
• Familiarity with version control systems, notably Git
• Experience with workflow management tools like Apache Airflow
