About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our Enterprise AI organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, reliable, and ethical development of Agentic AI systems within Humana’s healthcare ecosystem. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to design safety architectures, develop alignment techniques, and establish monitoring strategies for intelligent agents operating in dynamic, multi-agent, and high-stakes environments. This cross-functional position requires collaboration with product teams, legal, governance, and Responsible AI units to ensure responsible scaling and deployment of AI solutions. The Lead Data Scientist will also contribute to cutting-edge research, publish findings, and proactively identify potential failure modes to uphold the highest safety standards in AI development.


Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in research, ML engineering, or applied research roles focused on AI solutions.
• 2+ years of experience leading the development of AI/ML systems.
