Data Engineer Data & AI, Supply Chain (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data & AI Supply Chain Organization. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-based data products and data pipelines that power analytics and AI initiatives across Supply Chain domains including Sourcing, Transportation, and Warehouse Management (WMS).


The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt, along with expertise in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions.


This is a 40-hour per week, 18-month contract (possible extension), a remote role.


This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.


Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


Build and optimize data solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.


Develop and maintain scalable data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.


Ingest, transform, validate, and publish data from multiple enterprise source systems.


Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and Solution Architects to deliver business-driven data solutions.


Develop reusable data transformation components following engineering standards and best practices.


Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.


Perform unit testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and production support to ensure high-quality data solutions.


Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews.


Create and maintain technical documentation including data flows, solution designs, and implementation details.
