About The Role
The Data Engineer at IEM is a vital member of our data and analytics team, responsible for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and transformation models that underpin our business intelligence efforts. Working remotely within the United States, you will leverage modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau to turn raw source data into reliable, analytics-ready datasets. Your role involves building scalable ELT pipelines, developing transformation models, and ensuring high data quality standards. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, translate those requirements into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights. This position offers hands-on ownership of production data models, with opportunities to influence engineering standards and best practices. Additionally, you will utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate development processes, enhance code quality, and streamline documentation efforts, contributing to a culture of continuous innovation and learning.
