About The Internship
We are seeking a
Data Analyst Intern
to support our data and analytics initiatives across
AWS and Azure cloud platforms
. This role is ideal for a student eager to gain hands‑on experience with
data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable analytics platforms
, including
Snowflake and/or Databricks
.


You will work alongside experienced Software R&D team members on analyzing customer data and implementing ML algorithms to transform system and application data into actionable business insights, with opportunities to support
machine learning model development and deployment
.


Compensation & Role Details:


Expected Salary Range: The base hourly rate for this role is expected to be between $20–$23 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.


Role Type: New Role

What You’ll Do

• Assist with ingesting, transforming, and validating data in cloud-based data lakes and warehouses
• Support ETL / ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, R, and/or Scala
• Work with Snowflake to build analytical tables and views
• Use Databricks (Spark / PySpark / SQL) for data processing and exploratory analysis
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• Assist with data preparation, feature engineering, and evaluation for ML use cases
• Support basic ML workflows such as batch inference, experiments, or model monitoring
• Monitor data pipelines, investigate issues, and document findings
• Follow best practices for data security, governance, and cloud access controls

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field
• Strong foundational knowledge of SQL
