The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Operations Manager to join our team in London or Rotterdam. This role will support operational compliance initiatives across multiple product categories and European markets. The ideal candidate combines strong project management and in-depth knowledge of EU and international regulatory requirements. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing compliance projects, and driving process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of operational procedure handbooks based on compliance requirements for each product or category, ensuring timely updates as business evolves.
• Manage packaging, plastic, and other environmental obligations across the EU and UK, including CBAM, EUDR, and similar regulations.
• Oversee calculation and allocation of customs clearance and import-related fees to ensure accuracy and fairness across SKUs.
• Lead applications for licenses and permits across various product categories.
• Oversee other compliance-related initiatives, such as deposit return systems for beverage packaging.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and liaise with external regulatory authorities to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Drive process improvement projects, including SOP development, operational efficiency, and best practices implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior compliance staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
