Business Analyst/Enterprise Architect

About this role

• Responsible for collecting information system data consistent with portfolio management needs to effectively report the financial, mission support area, capability requirements, and business impact of each system/application within the organization.
• Coordinates with functional business units to identify Agency business needs that can be supported through information technology solutions.
• Articulates business needs through skilled analysis of enterprise business requirements, end-to-end business processes, communication across integrated teams and facilitation of translating business needs into viable solutions.
• Documents and evaluates data requirements and information sharing needs.
• Collects and analyzes system requirements to formulate and design system specifications for both new and existing information systems.
• Identifies opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies
• Experience with EAM Tools (Sparx EA or similar)
• Experience developing methods and techniques for modeling technologies
• Analysis and design
• Modeling and graphical representations and abstractions
• Strong technical writing
• Excellent facilitation skills and presentation skills

Education and Other Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Must be able to obtain Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or equivalent
• DoD IAT 2 certification or higher is a plus but not required (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
