Salary: $75,000 per year
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. citizenship required
Security Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the government-required security clearance or access determination and successfully complete a Tier 1 background investigation

Position Summary

Alkanna Consulting is seeking a qualified Business Analyst II to support a federal healthcare information technology program in San Antonio, Texas. The Business Analyst II will analyze business processes and systems, translate operational needs into clear technical and user requirements, identify opportunities for performance improvement, and support the design and implementation of practical business solutions.The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to document requirements, analyze existing processes and procedures, maintain project-management information, and communicate progress throughout the project lifecycle.This position requires onsite attendance in San Antonio Monday through Friday. Remote and hybrid work are not available for this role.Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, systems, methods, schedules, and procedures to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business-process needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
• Determine, document, and maintain user and business-process requirements for current and future initiatives.
• Support business-process and systems design, improvement, and implementation activities.
• Use available systems, organizational resources, and analytical methods to evaluate performance and recommend practical business solutions.
• Develop and maintain management plans and supporting documentation for assigned projects.
