Position Summary
CVS Health’s Adjudication & Client Experience Engineering organization is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Application Production Support Team, providing Level 1–3 support for critical myPBM business applications. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, stability, and continuous improvement of systems that directly serve our PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) business customers.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with fellow engineers as well as product, design, and operational teams to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve daily production issues. You will be responsible for addressing application incidents, identifying root causes, implementing permanent fixes, and driving process improvements to reduce recurring issues. Your work will support business continuity, customer satisfaction, and the overall operational excellence of our digital platforms.
In addition to support responsibilities, you will play an active role in facilitating Break fix existing codebases to improve application stability, scalability, and performance as our membership and transaction volumes continue to grow. This includes designing and implementing new features, contributing to technical architecture, and helping advance the engineering roadmap across our adjudication and client experience systems.
