An established commercial general contractor is seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
to support commercial construction projects across healthcare, education, office, retail, hospitality, and automotive sectors. This is a great opportunity to grow your career while working alongside experienced project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of commercial construction projects.
  • Support scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Track project progress, costs, and schedules to help keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and clients.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Help resolve project issues and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes and project coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
