An established commercial general contractor is seeking an
Assistant Project Manager
to support commercial construction projects across healthcare, education, office, retail, hospitality, and automotive sectors. This is a great opportunity to grow your career while working alongside experienced project teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of commercial construction projects.
- Support scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation.
- Track project progress, costs, and schedules to help keep projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and clients.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
- Help resolve project issues and maintain strong working relationships.
- Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role.
- Knowledge of commercial construction processes and project coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
