Role Description
The AI/ML Engineer contract role is a remote position focused on designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models that enhance interoperability solutions and healthcare data processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing algorithms for pattern recognition in clinical, claims, and compliance data, as well as developing and training neural network models aligned with HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare standards. The role involves collaborating with software engineers and architects to integrate AI-driven components into existing systems, performing data exploration and statistical analysis, and ensuring model performance, robustness, and scalability in production environments. The AI/ML Engineer will document models and workflows, contribute to technical design discussions, and help continually improve digital health solutions through experimentation and evaluation.
