Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative AI Software Engineer to join our cutting-edge technology team. In this role, you will drive the development and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning frameworks, big data systems, and cloud services to build scalable, efficient AI models that solve complex problems across diverse domains. Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance features across our SaaS platform.
- Lead a Plan → Build → Review cycle on features, using AI assistance throughout and validating every output before it ships.
- Build and maintain API (application programming interface) integrations that extend platform capabilities for home care, senior living, and childcare networks.
- Use AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) daily to accelerate feature development, improve code quality, and reduce debugging time.
- Treat AI as an agent -not just an autocomplete- by crafting effective prompts, orchestrating multi-step tasks, and critically reviewing AI-generated code before merging.
- Apply AI to the full SDLC (software development life cycle): requirements analysis, system design, implementation, test generation, code review, and post-deployment maintenance.
- Help establish team norms around responsible, high-quality AI-assisted development.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teammates to deliver customer-focused features in an agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery) pipelines, and unit/integration testing.
