We’re looking for someone who can sit at the intersection of AI engineering, enterprise integration, and EDI modernization. This role owns the design and development of AI assisted integration capabilities while supporting the migration of legacy BizTalk EDI interfaces to Azure Integration Services (AIS). The engineer will build and refine models that enhance mapping, transformation, validation, and exception handling workflows across EDI transactions. Key Responsibilities AI & Model Development • Build, fine tune, and operationalize AI/ML models to support integration scenarios such as: o EDI document classification o Automated mapping suggestions o Schema inference o Exception detection and anomaly identification o Intelligent routing and transformation • Develop pipelines for training, testing, and deploying models using Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent services. • Collaborate with integration architects to embed AI capabilities into EDI workflows and integration pipelines. EDI & Integration Engineering • Lead the migration of BizTalk EDI interfaces to Azure Integration Services, including: o Azure Logic Apps (EDI & B2B connectors) o Azure API Management o Azure Service Bus o Azure Functions o Integration Accounts • Rebuild or modernize EDI schemas, maps, trading partner configurations, and agreements. • Implement secure, scalable, and resilient B2B/EDI solutions aligned with enterprise standards. • Troubleshoot EDI transactions (X12, EDIFACT) and integration failures across environments.
