### About the Role

Join a small, high-impact founding team at a seed-stage AI-powered fintech compliance company building a foundational multi-agent AI platform. As an early AI Applied Engineer, you'll work directly with the CEO and CTO to define the AI roadmap and architect core systems that autonomously handle business identity data from diverse sources. This is a pivotal role that will shape company culture, product direction, and real-world AI outcomes for customers in the KYB (Know Your Business) and compliance space.

### What You'll Do

• Define AI strategy and directly influence the product roadmap alongside executive leadership
• Design and develop a multi-agent AI platform that processes and reconciles identity and compliance data from varied sources
• Build rigorous evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to measure agent performance and output quality
• Engage directly with customers to capture requirements, gather feedback, and translate insights into product improvements
• Stay current with the latest AI/ML research and ecosystem developments, translating findings into tangible product impact
• Foster a collaborative, high-trust engineering culture as a founding team member

### What We're Looking For

Required:

• **Strong Python development experience** with a focus on AI/ML workflows (dealbreaker)
• Hands-on experience building and deploying **multi-agent AI platforms**
• Experience with **large language models (LLMs)** and machine learning pipelines
• Experience in **data integration and identity information extraction/reconciliation** from diverse sources
• Ability to design and implement **evaluation benchmarks** to assess agent performance and output quality
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customers
• Experience working in or contributing to an **early-stage startup environment** (founding team experience preferred)
