About The Role
The Senior Accountant at Barron Lighting Group plays a pivotal role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reporting. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with over five years of comprehensive accounting experience. The Senior Accountant will support the management team by preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes. The role involves analyzing financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and resolving discrepancies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with external audits and contribute to continuous process improvements within the department.


Qualifications
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of general accounting experience is essential.
• One to two years of experience as a Senior Accountant or equivalent role is preferred.
• Experience with sales tax compliance is a plus.
