You will join a cross-functional team that partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, and Workday support teams to enable secure, scalable, and compliant access across the Workday platform. This team plays a meaningful role in protecting enterprise data, strengthening governance, and ensuring Workday security capabilities evolve in line with business, regulatory, and technology needs.
Your Impact
As the Product Owner – Workday Security, you will own the strategy, governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Workday security model. You will own the end-to-end security framework across Workday, ensuring access is invented and governed with a solid focus on compliance, auditability, scalability, and least-privilege principles. This is a high-impact role that blends product ownership, security governance, stakeholder management, and platform expertise to support a secure and future-ready Workday environment, including AI-enabled capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the end-to-end product owner for the Workday security framework, including strategy, roadmap, governance standards, and operating model.
- Own and maintain Workday Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, Security Groups, and Prism Security.
- Develop, review, and optimize domain permissions across Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, and related areas.
- Establish and implement standards for creation, modification, review, and retirement of Workday security groups, including role-based, user-based, intersection, segment-based, and constrained security groups.
