UI/UX Designer (Senior Level)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer who can translate business and user needs into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs, while also building and maintaining a scalable design system in Figma that aligns closely with React implementation

You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to design complex, data-driven interfaces and ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility across multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and user needs into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Define and execute UX strategy aligned with product vision and business goals
• Design complex, data-driven interfaces (dashboards, forms, tables, mapping or geospatial views is a plus)
• Build, maintain, and scale a component-based design system in Figma
• Structure atomic / variant-based components (buttons, forms, layouts, patterns)
• Maintain Figma libraries with components, variables, tokens, documentation, and naming conventions
• Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth handoff and React-ready designs
• Translate design intent into React-friendly component structures (Radix, Material UI, shadcn/ui, etc.)
• Create interactive prototypes and facilitate collaboration using FigJam
• Skilled in prototyping and developer handoffs using Figma Dev Mode, specs, and design tokens
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Conduct, analyze, and synthesize user research and usability testing to drive improvements
• Ensure accessibility standards are met (WCAG, ARIA) across all designs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
• Strong portfolio showing complex, data-heavy interfaces and design systems
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (including Dev Mode, variables, and components)
• Proven experience building scalable design systems in Figma
