Telecon is looking for an energetic, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Telecommunications Construction Project Manager. This role is specific to one of our major clients and covers all of Alberta.

This is a Remote work opportunity, however the ideal candidate will reside in/around the Edmonton area as occasional site visits may be required.

The Project Manager is responsible to lead and manage projects in alignment with the commitment made by Telecon through the expectations and contract with the Customer. They are responsible for the timely delivery of the project and ensuring the project is on budget.

The Project Manager will be required to utilize their project management training, skills and business acumen to plan, track and effectively report on matters related to their overall portfolio of projects, and communicate opportunities for the development of new business.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Establish and maintain a constructive relationship with the client
• Define and manage client expectations in relation to projects and procedures internal and external
• Owning project progress and tracking from start to finish: Plan, organize, direct and control project activities and schedules
• Implement and ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
• Communicate relevant and important information quickly and effectively to team members
• Produce and share project progress and results in the form of various reports (project progress report, permit follow-up, etc.)
• Be responsive to the client's needs and concerns and respond in a timely and effective manner
• Attend and possibly lead various meetings with the client as a representative of Telecon
• Estimate and track and adhere to project costs by monitoring hours spent and/or Build Partner activities on each function to control project profitability
