Position Summary

The Staff Software Development Engineer in Automation Production Support is a senior technical leader responsible for the stability, reliability, and operational excellence of enterprise automation solutions. This role owns production support strategy for RPA and automation platforms, leads complex incident resolution, and drives proactive improvements to reduce operational risk. The position partners closely with engineering, infrastructure, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure automations are resilient, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes.

*The Production Support role owns incident triage, root‑cause analysis, and coordination of fixes to ensure stable and reliable production operations. The role works closely with development and platform teams to resolve issues efficiently and prevent recurrence. Participation in a rotating on‑call schedule is expected, which may involve limited after‑hours support for critical incidents or time‑sensitive production events.*

## Key Responsibilities

### Production Support & Operations

• Serve as the **technical owner** for production support of automation and RPA solutions across critical business processes
• Lead **incident triage, root cause analysis, and permanent remediation** for high‑severity automation failures
• Establish and enforce **runbooks, support models, escalation paths, and on‑call readiness** for automation platforms
• Proactively identify systemic issues and implement **stability, resiliency, and performance improvements**
