CVS Health is looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to drive technical strategy and execution within the Client Data Exchange Solutions (CDES) space. This individual will lead project teams across a broad and evolving technology landscape, spanning legacy IBMi AS400 systems, cloud platforms, and next‑generation agentic AI/ML frameworks.
This high‑visibility role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in cross‑functional environments and strategic problem solving. You will collaborate directly with senior business leaders, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to enable innovation, modernize platforms, and help shape our move toward AI‑driven capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Shape and drive enterprise‑scale technical vision and long‑term architecture strategy, influencing outcomes across multiple teams and platforms.
- Establish, evolve, and champion technical standards, engineering best practices, and governance to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted technical partner to Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to solve complex, cross‑cutting problems and deliver durable solutions.
