How will you make an impact?
The Mechanical Integration Engineer will have a critical understanding of manufacturing processes for thermal components and solid comprehension of thermal design and analysis to lead and oversee the mechanical systems essential for Data Center Infrastructure functionality. This role will involve developing specifications, selecting key components, component placement, selecting fastening methods, and transitioning design to manufacturing. Additionally, the position includes leading test process implementation and equipment selection to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and reliability.
What will you do?
- Have a strong background in liquid cooling technology used in data center design and buildout.
- Act as the subject matter expert on all matters related to single phase and two-phase liquid cooling applications within hyperscale data centers, including primary and in-rack cooling solutions.
- Have expertise in both enclosed and facility-based cooling systems
- Have experience with current Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) technologies
- Ability to detail operational expectations for LC Racks, Manifolds and other LC infrastructure (Pressure Ratings, Temperature Ranges (in/outlet), Flow Uniformity and Durability)
- Proficiency with testing concepts for leaks/mitigation and hydrostatic pressure validation, flow resistance analysis, and corrosion assessments to comply with international standards such as ASME and ISO.
- Knowledgeable on High-Density Liquid Cooling (HDLC) products utilized in global data center applications
