$114,400 - $135,200 per year

Job Summary:
We are seeking a very senior Data Engineer with deep SQL expertise who can start quickly and deliver impact immediately. This role is highly execution-focused and requires end-to-end ownership of data pipelines, analytics, and business reporting used directly by leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience working directly with and supporting Sr. Leadership
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
- Develop and own business metrics, dashboards, and reporting consumed by senior leadership.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure high data quality and trust.
- Partner closely with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
- Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Take ownership of data delivery with minimal oversight and tight timelines.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Expert-level SQL (non-negotiable)
- Complex joins, window functions, performance tuning, and large datasets
- Strong end-to-end data engineering experience across the full data lifecycle
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java
- Experience with Kubernetes and Kueue
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern analytics stacks
- Proven ability to move fast, work independently, and deliver results under pressure
- Experience building pipelines and analytics that directly support executive decision-making
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with distributed data systems (e.g., Trino)
