Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our technology team in New York City on a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). In this role, you will take ownership of building, maintaining, and optimizing the systems that power our investment banking infrastructure. You will focus heavily on data systems, backend integration, and web-based tools, ensuring our financial applications run securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Backend Systems Integration: Write clean, maintainable code and automated jobs to integrate complex backend platforms.

· Database Management: Optimize database structures and write efficient queries using SQL Server.

· Full-Stack Development: Support internal applications by developing features across the full stack using C# and modern .NET tools.

· Frontend Enhancement: Maintain and improve responsive user interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

· Performance Tuning: Monitor, troubleshoot, and refactor existing data pipelines and services to maximize system uptime.

Qualifications & Skills

· Core Technical Stack: 3+ years of professional experience working with C# and ASP.NET Core.

· Database Experience: Strong proficiency with SQL Server, including writing stored procedures and scheduling background data jobs.

· Frontend Web Skills: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery or similar JavaScript frameworks.
