Who we are looking for
State Street’s Wealth Custody & Clearing business is seeking multiple Assistant Vice Presidents, Software Engineers to join our growing Technology organization. These are hands-on engineering roles responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting modern software capabilities across our wealth custody and clearing platform.
We are seeking engineers with experience in senior backend development, software development engineering, API-driven platforms, distributed systems, cloud-enabled development, and enterprise application delivery. Successful candidates will help build resilient, scalable, secure, and production-grade technology solutions supporting advisor, brokerage, custody, clearing, trading, onboarding, servicing, and operational workflows.
This role is intended to support multiple engineering needs across the platform. Final team alignment may vary based on candidate experience and business priorities, including backend engineering, full-stack development, API and integration engineering, platform engineering, or cloud-native application development.
