This team partners closely with business stakeholders to create and enhance applications that help identify suspicious activity, streamline investigations, and provide actionable insights through modern data-driven solutions. Engineers on this team have the opportunity to work across full-stack technologies, contribute to mission-critical applications, and play a direct role in protecting the bank and its customers.
Responsible at the proficient level for writing code and the team's technical requirements gathering. Completes work following banking technology standards and contributes to the overall stability and resiliency of banking technology within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Primary Responsibilities
- Work within the boundaries of the approved Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to solve business needs and minimize risks to the Bank through clean and resilient code with guidance as needed.
- Develop, enhance, and support applications that provide data and analytical capabilities for Fraud, Compliance, and Internal Threat monitoring functions.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, business partners, and fellow engineers in a highly interactive Agile environment to deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate in all phases of application development, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Provide feedback in pull requests to other team members.
- Participate in code review by presenting and providing constructive feedback on code quality and improvements with team members.
- Write organized, clean, efficient, and secure source code at proficient level in one or more programming languages to be verified by a senior team member.
