PLC/HMI Programmer (Req #: 1209)

Location: New York, Athens, 12015 | Salary: $64,000.00 - $105,000.00

Hyra is working on behalf of Peckham Industries to hire for the position of PLC/HMI Programmer (Req #: 1209). This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of PLC and HMI systems to enhance industrial process functionality. You will work within the automation and control engineering team to design, code, and test automated machinery.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and troubleshoot PLC systems using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block

• Design, develop, and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems

• Debug and troubleshoot PLC and HMI software to ensure optimal system performance

• Maintain and modify existing systems while providing post-go-live support

• Document and maintain PLC and HMI program revisions and updates

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or 4 years of related experience

• Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in an industrial setting

• Proficiency with PLC programming tools such as Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, or Siemens

• Experience with HMI design and development

• Ability to interpret control system and HMI plans and specifications
