We're working with a leading global financial services powerhouse and capital markets innovator on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a heavy-hitting Engineer to drive technical excellence within a high-stakes Regulatory Reporting team, handling massive data volumes for CAT 605 and 606 compliance.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will leverage KDB+, Python, and Java to build resilient, distributed systems that process equity and options trading data at scale. You will bridge the gap between complex financial regulations and cutting-edge software engineering in a collaborative, agile environment.

The Role

• Lead the design and implementation of technology solutions for Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting using KDB+, Python, and Java.

• Build and maintain high-performance platform services and APIs that ingest high volumes of equity and options trading data for FINRA submission.

• Drive engineering excellence by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and microservices architecture for both on-prem and cloud-based deployments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical initiatives while mentoring junior engineers on technical blueprints and innovative frameworks.

• Manage and optimize high-volume time-series datasets, ensuring reliability and resiliency in high-pressure trading environments.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong background in large-scale Reporting Platforms.

• Deep technical expertise in KDB+, Python, Java, and Shell Scripting within a Linux environment.

• Proven experience with SQL, relational databases, time-series databases, and distributed messaging services.

• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets (Trading, Algo Trading) or Crypto Currency platforms and regulatory requirements.
