Senior Staff Software Engineer (Invest)

About this role

• We are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to join our team. SoFi Invest is SoFi’s investment platform that includes our market-leading robo-advisor, and online brokerage (stock, ETF, and mutual funds trading) products
• On our team, you will be in the middle of it all – implementing functionality, architecting our system, squashing bugs, maintaining the health of our code, and continually growing as an engineer

• Help shape the technical architecture & design of the Sofi Invest core systems
• Lead best practices for development, testing and releasing the SoFi Invest component while contributing to the shared components across SoFi
• Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
• Shape the architecture of foundational systems including but not limited to market data, ledger, search
• Proven experience designing and building highly scalable distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, resource optimization, and network protocols
• Excellent cross-functional communication and leadership skills
