# The role

We are looking for an expert Senior Software Engineer to join our Trading, Shipping & Supply & Technology organisation in London.

You will be part of a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and evolving digital products across our Risk, Pricing and Trading (RPT) Middle Office Technology landscape.

Working closely with traders, schedulers, operators, exposure analysts, commodity risk analysts, finance teams, product managers, UX designers and data engineers, you will design and deliver technology that enables faster, better and more informed commercial decisions.

This is a hands-on engineering role with significant opportunity to influence architecture, engineering standards and the long-term technology strategy. You will work closely with the Technical Lead and business customers to turn sophisticated business problems into scalable, resilient and production-ready solutions.

A key focus of the role will be taking Data and AI solutions from discovery through to production, including rapid prototyping, evaluation, deployment and operation of agentic applications such as multi-agent systems and Model Context Protocol (MCP) services.
