Senior Software Engineer (Security Infrastructure)

About this role

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Security Infrastructure team, you will shape security observability and detection capabilities by integrating with various infrastructures, acquiring logs and data, and making them searchable to derive intelligence. Our Security Detections, Insider Risk, Threat Hunting and many more programs depend on the platform the team builds and owns
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of our SIEM as an infrastructure, and develop data pipelines that acquire huge amounts of data across all of our infrastructure surfaces
• Collaborate with various security teams, data platform teams, and other infrastructure teams in building solutions that scale
• Do hands-on work on data processing, data lake solutions, elasticsearch and other technologies that make security data analysis possible- Experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages, with the ability to build production tooling and automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• (5)+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure engineering
• Strong understanding of large scale data processing and data pipelines
• Experience building SIEM, Data platforms or Observability platforms
