About this role
- As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and manage our cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS with some GCP integration, focusing on cloud-native architectures and multi-region configurations.
- You will leverage AWS CDK, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and cost-effectiveness for our serverless platform, while implementing robust monitoring and log management solutions
- Architect and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB, RDS, S3) and GCP (GKE, Cloud Run) using AWS CDK and Terraform, emphasizing multi-region setups for scalability, resiliency, and performance
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline for efficient, reliable deployments. Build serverless and containerized solutions to support scalable, cost-effective systems
- Optimize multi-region configurations to balance high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency while meeting compliance (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS)
- Implement and manage monitoring and log management solutions using tools like Datadog, Cloudwatch Logs, ensure observability and rapid issue resolution
- Collaborate with developers to integrate DevOps practices, including automated testing, monitoring, and observability
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure robust infrastructure security and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across production and non-production environments
- Drive cloud cost optimization strategies and adopt best practices for performance, resiliency, and log management
