# Job Description

The Role

As a Senior Go Engineer on the RPC Platform team at Quicknode, you will design, build, and scale the critical infrastructure that powers high-performance blockchain RPC services used by developers and enterprises globally. This role operates at the intersection of distributed systems, Web3 infrastructure, and developer experience, requiring deep technical ownership and a strong bias toward execution.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency backend services in Go.
• Architect distributed systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design through production.
• Improve uptime and reduce latency across services.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and DevEx teams.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues.
• Drive engineering standards and best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• 6–10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high-scale production environments, aligning with P4 expectations.
• Strong proficiency in Go, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new languages and frameworks as needed.
• Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures.
