Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in front-end engineering. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling our new Goodleap Pros platform for home contractors. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build systems that are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implement front-end frameworks and shared component libraries across the product line
Utilize AI-driven software processes to build and expand Goodleap Pros front-end and full stack services in a variety of technologies
Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions as you lead initiatives within the Pros Selling organization
Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in AI-driven software development
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain high system availability

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
5+ years of front-end software development experience using Typescript, React & Tailwind
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Experience developing across the full software stack in conjunction with AI and agentic software development practices
Ability to design systems that are secure, scalable and resilient to failure
Familiarity with relational databases like PostgresSQL
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Excellent communication and documentation skills to go along with a collaborative mindset
A passion for clean code, continuous improvement and best practices in software engineering

Nice to Have
Familiarity with mobile development (especially Flutter), three.js, shadcn/radix, TanStack, Python

CA, WA, NJ, MA, DC, NYC range: $144,800 - $177,700
Rest of US Range: $131,700 - $161,500
SF Range: $161,100 - $196,600
In addition to the above salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus.
