Senior DevX Software Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor focused on improving developer experience (DevX), CI/CD platforms, and cloud-native delivery pipelines. This role provides deep technical expertise across build, test, release, and reliability domains while partnering closely with application teams, SRE, security, and platform engineering. The engineer acts as an influential collaborator, enabling teams to deliver software faster, safer, and more reliably through well-designed automation and tooling.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

*Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:*

• Evaluate complex engineering and platform requirements across application teams and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective DevX solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and cloud-native delivery platforms.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and supporting platforms using GitHub Actions (hands-on), Harness, and Jenkins, ensuring reliability, consistency, and fast feedback cycles.
• Lead the integration of vendor tools and platforms (e.g., CI/CD, security, observability, artifact management) with existing enterprise systems and engineering workflows.
• Serve as a technical lead or sub-lead on DevX, platform, or CI/CD initiatives, influencing technical direction and execution across multiple teams.
• Act as a technical consultant and mentor to engineers and delivery teams, providing guidance across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
