Artifex Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across the Central North Island region. This is a full-time position based in the Central North Island (Taupō or Rotorua preferred but not essential), offering the opportunity to drive strategic project delivery and make a significant impact on our business operations.

Artifex Engineering is a professional project and construction management consultancy and contracting business.  We specialise in creating, sustaining, and upgrading complex process and production infrastructure.  Our clients generally operate in primary production processing, industrial manufacturing and energy generation sectors.  This includes power generator, food and beverage, chemicals and fertiliser, wood processing and manufacturing.

*Who are we looking for?*

We need a really capable and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead projects in any phase from inception to commissioning through a structured, phased delivery process. We are open to the role being permanent staff or contract.

You will:

• Be an experienced project manager in the development and delivery of multi-discipline industrial or energy projects
• Have a tertiary qualification in engineering or related area
• Be skilled in the front-end phases of project development
• Have a strong delivery and implementation track record.
• Be capable of successfully applying judgment on our risk-based approach to delivery. If it is complex or high risk, you will know how to apply the appropriate level of structured rigour, if it not, then you need to be confident to take a pragmatic approach.
