Senior Project Manager

About this role

The Role

Amzur is looking for a technology-savvy project manager who knows how to turn complex software initiatives into predictable, high-quality delivery.

This is not a traditional project tracking role. You will work closely with engineering teams, customers, and leadership to drive execution, identify delivery risks early, resolve bottlenecks, and continuously improve how we deliver software using modern Agile practices, engineering metrics, automation, and AI.

The right person is a strong people leader and communicator who understands technology well enough to challenge assumptions, recognise delivery risks, and make sound trade-offs.

What You Will Own

Drive Predictable Delivery

• Own end-to-end delivery across **scope, schedule, quality, dependencies, and customer commitments**.
• Translate business objectives into clear milestones, ownership, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Keep teams focused on outcomes rather than activity and status reporting.
• Make delivery trade-offs quickly when priorities, scope, or constraints change.

Use AI to Improve Delivery

• Introduce practical **AI-assisted practices** across planning, requirements, estimation, development, testing, documentation, and project reporting.
• Use AI and automation to improve **team productivity, delivery predictability, quality, and decision-making**.
• Identify repetitive project processes that can be automated or augmented with AI.
• Help engineering teams adopt new AI-enabled ways of working without adding unnecessary process overhead.

Anticipate and Manage Risk

• Maintain an always-current view of **delivery health, risks, dependencies, constraints, and critical-path items**.
• Identify early warning signals before they become missed commitments or customer escalations.
• Define mitigation plans, assign ownership, and drive actions to closure.
