# About the role

We are looking for a highly independent Senior Product Manager to build a major new capability inside one of our live consumer web products, for an existing base of active users. You will be fully responsible for it end to end - researching what users actually need, defining the concept, producing the designs and prototypes yourself with AI tools, writing the backlog, shipping it with engineering, and then driving adoption and engagement after launch.

This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who thinks in products, not tickets. You will not be handed a spec, a designer, or a research team: you decide what to build, prove it with evidence, and get it live inside a product people already use every day - which means new work has to earn its place without degrading what already works.

## Responsibilities

• Own the research behind what we build -user needs, behaviour in the current product, and the competitive landscape
• Turn findings into a clear, defensible product thesis the team can build from
• Produce high-fidelity, build-ready designs and clickable prototypes using AI design tools
• Define the end-to-end user journey, from first discovery of the feature to repeat use
• Keep new surfaces consistent with the existing product's design system and patterns
• Own a single prioritised backlog with clear sequencing, scope, and honest timelines
• Write developer-ready specs with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and measurable outcomes
