Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $136,400 – $178,300 annually


Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for department champions to identify workflow automation opportunities
• Drive AI adoption by delivering user-oriented tool bundles that fit with existing workflows
• Run continuous feedback loops to refine AI integrations based on user input
• Create documentation and enablement materials for non-technical stakeholders
• Represent end user needs during the integration development process
• Integrate SaaS and internal applications with the MCP ecosystem, handling authentication effectively
• Build and deploy tool bundles while managing user access thoughtfully

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems integration, developer enablement, or related field
• Hands-on experience with MCP; configuring servers and writing skills
• Strong SaaS API integration experience, particularly with REST and OAuth
• Expertise in translating non-technical needs into technical solutions
• Demonstrated success in driving tool adoption and user engagement
• Proficient in Python or similar for writing integration code
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
