Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer, Project Manager. The Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer, Project Manager will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems, preparing detailed layouts, collaborating with clients and project teams, ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards, and creating permit-ready drawings. Additional responsibilities include material takeoffs, fabrication listings, and coordinating with engineers and contractors during all phases of the design process.
Core Responsibilities
- **Technical Design & Engineering**: Develop fire sprinkler system layouts, including hydraulic calculations.
- **BIM Coordination**: Lead BIM coordination efforts for your projects, utilizing Revit and/or Navisworks software.
- **Project Management**: Manage your projects from initial design through fabrication listing and final project closeout.
- **Compliance & Quality Assurance**: Ensure all drawings and technical submittals adhere to current NFPA codes and jurisdictional requirements.
- **Resource Planning**: Efficiently manage project timelines and resources within a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
