Senior Financial Analyst (Financial Reporting)

About this role

• The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) – Financial Reporting plays a vital role in financial reporting, accounting analysis, and decision support
• This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and facilitating the annual external audit and technical accounting matters
• Additionally, the SFA helps enhance and maintain internal controls while overseeing key reporting processe
• This role collaborates closely with Accounting, FP&A, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support financial reporting, month-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, supporting schedules, and journal entries
• Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit process, acting as the key liaison between the company and external auditors
• Assist in drafting financial statements, MD&A, and press release in compliance with IFRS
• Address auditor inquiries, provide supporting documentation, and resolve audit findings in a timely manner
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls to ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• CPA certification (completed or in progress)
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is a plus
• Required two or three days in Downtown Toronto office
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
