RX3 Communications is a federal design-build general contractor delivering fire protection, fire alarm and mass notification, electrical, and telecommunications projects for NAVFAC, USACE, the Bureau of Reclamation, DLA, and other federal customers. We have 16+ years of federal contracting history and are HUBZone-certified and ISO 9001:2015-certified, with offices in Reno, NV and Colorado.

We are a small, fast-moving team that manages design and construction through specialty subcontractors. We hold a position on the NAVFAC Southwest Fire Protection MACC, and our task order backlog is growing. This role is a key hire in scaling our project delivery.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager personally runs 3 to 4 federal design-build task orders (typically $1M to $5M each) from award through closeout. This is a hands-on role: you build the schedules, manage the subcontractors, and own the relationship with the government's contracting and field teams.

You will also standardize how RX3 delivers projects. We have working templates for schedules, quality control plans, and billing; you will refine them into a repeatable system that future project managers use.

Growth path: as our backlog grows, this role is expected to lead the next project management hires and may grow into a Director-level position for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

Project delivery

• Own cost, schedule, and quality for your assigned task orders from award through final acceptance and closeout.
• Develop baseline and updated schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project), identify the critical path, and manage to contract completion dates and liquidated damages exposure.
