Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure

About this role

Apex is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, evaluation, and technical execution of hyperscale data center electrical infrastructure across a global portfolio of mission-critical projects.

This role will focus on electrical system design, medium-voltage and high-voltage power distribution, substation coordination, engineering reviews, construction support, and operational reliability improvements for large-scale data center environments

.The Senior Electrical Engineer will work closely with design consultants, construction teams, commissioning partners, utility stakeholders, and operations teams to help deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient electrical infrastructure

.About the Rol

eThis position is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer with strong knowledge of data center electrical systems, power distribution, substations, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and utility interconnections

.The ideal candidate has experience supporting electrical infrastructure across design, construction, commissioning, or operational engineering environments for hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects

• gnReview and support the development of electrical systems for hyperscale data centers, including campus planning, electrical distribution layouts, and system architectur
• e.Evaluate and provide technical guidance on medium-voltage and high-voltage infrastructure, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and electrical distribution system
• s.Support design development for site substations and utility interconnections, including systems up to 345k
• V.Review electrical design documents, engineering calculations, single-line diagrams, system models, specifications, and sequence of operation
