## Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise cloud architecture within a federal environment.
The Azure Cloud Architect will define cloud architecture standards, guide DevOps and engineering teams, and ensure Azure environments are designed for scalability, resilience, security, and compliance. The architect will collaborate closely with engineering teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions align with mission objectives and federal security requirements.

## Key Responsibilities

### Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Design and oversee **highly available, secure, and scalable Azure architectures** across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Define **enterprise Azure reference architectures, patterns, and best practices** for development teams.
• Establish architectural guidance for **Azure identity, governance, policy enforcement, and monitoring frameworks**.
• Evaluate and guide the adoption of **cloud-native Azure services and modernization strategies**.
