About this role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Lead to own CI/CD, production deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability for a live e-commerce platform built on ASP.NET MVC and MS SQL Server.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Windows Server / IIS, .NET deployments, Cloudflare, CI/CD, monitoring, and production incident response.
This is a production-critical role, so the right candidate must be careful with changes, strong in documentation, and comfortable planning rollbacks before implementation.
## Key Responsibilities
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment stages, rollback procedures, and approval gates.
- Manage production deployments across e-commerce and related internal platforms.
- Maintain and improve infrastructure reliability, including Cloudflare DNS, CDN, and load balancer configuration.
- Improve monitoring and observability using **BetterStack or similar tools**.
- Expand synthetic monitoring using **Playwright or equivalent tools** for critical user flows.
- Lead production incident response, severity assessment, coordination, and post-incident documentation.
- Manage and guide one PH-based Junior DevOps Engineer while collaborating with a US-based junior DevOps resource.
- Set standards for DevOps documentation, monitoring, deployment practices, and operational reliability.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least **5 years of overall IT experience**.
- At least **5 years of hands-on DevOps / CI/CD experience**.
- Strong experience with **Windows Server, IIS, and .NET / ASP.NET MVC deployments**.
- Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
- Experience with **Cloudflare administration** including DNS, CDN, and load balancer setup.
