Job Summary

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to serve as Key Personnel for a critical U.S. Navy technical management support contract. You will lead the contractor team's technical development and implementation of advanced analytics applications. Your role will transform raw data into actionable insights to support major defense acquisition programs and weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities

• **Advanced Analytics:** Lead the application of data mining, data modeling, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
• **Technical Leadership:** Oversee the application of data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Guide the visualization, interpretation, and reporting of data findings to ensure clear communication of insights to Government stakeholders.
• **Automation & Tooling:** Automate organizational work through scripts for data processing and analytics. Develop and apply algorithms and machine learning methods.
• **Mentorship:** Support and guide junior staff and collaborate with senior team members to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications

• **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
• **Experience:** No specific minimum years required, but must demonstrate the ability to lead advanced analytics projects. Must meet the qualification requirements for the Data Scientist Advanced level (CWF Model 423).
