Senior Cost Accountant
LOCATION:
Greater Los Angeles area (on-site)
REPORTS TO:
CFO
COMPENSATION:
$110,000 – $140,000 base (depending on experience) + discretionary bonus
SYSTEMS:
ERP system (manufacturing-based), advanced Excel required
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is a newly created role and the first dedicated Cost Accountant for the organization. The position offers a unique opportunity to build and formalize the cost accounting function from the ground up, partnering closely with both finance and operations.
IDEAL PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong cost accounting background within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Detail-oriented with the ability to build processes from scratch
- Experience in food or consumable goods manufacturing is highly preferred (including exposure to waste/spoilage considerations)
