Position Summary
As a Senior Analyst Software Development Engineer , you will participate in an Agile Product Team of 6-10 people and work with the team to build high-quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders in the Claims and Payments team (Aetna). You will help create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a user-centered and business-as-priority approach in design perspective and practice. A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. The candidate should be able to develop both frontend and backend code utilizing industry best practices delivering efficient, optimized, user friendly and reusable code.
Required Qualifications
o 3+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
o 3+ years of experience as full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices, FAST API and spring boot framework /REST
o 3+ years of experience Cloud Technologies like Azure, GCP or other public cloud services and Knowledge of open-source packages especially those provided by Google
o 2 + years of experience in React, React TypeScript, React JS, Python, Nodejs or other front-end frameworks; ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with responsive UI design and development
o 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices
