# Senior Accountant -Japanese Bilingual Required

Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a bilingual Accountant (Accounting / Tax ) to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting both accounting and tax functions for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accounting and/or tax-related services for clients

Handle financial reporting, general ledger, and reconciliations
Prepare and review corporate tax returns (if applicable)
Communicate with clients regarding financial and tax matters
Support and collaborate with internal team members
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards

Qualifications

3–5 years of accounting and/or tax experience

(Audit, public accounting, consulting, or in-house experience)
- Experience in corporate tax is preferred (for tax-focused candidates)

Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred

CPA license is not required, but CPA candidates or those with relevant coursework are highly preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Language Requirement

Japanese-English bilingual required
