Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of accounting experience, particularly in a BPO setting for a U.S.-based company. This role requires a strong understanding of Philippine tax and payroll regulations to ensure compliance with local laws and supporting U.S. business operations. The Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting functions, including tax calculations, payroll processing, and financial reporting. This position is based on US ET time zone which is equivalent to 9PM-6AM PH time Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Process payroll in accordance with Philippine tax and labor laws, ensuring accurate deductions, contributions, and timely disbursements.
- Prepare and file taxes, including withholding tax, VAT, and other statutory contributions, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax laws in coordination with the firm’s external accountant.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for US and PH entities.
