Position: Senior Accountant

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information related to our real estate and construction projects. This role involves managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, handling construction accounting tasks, and assisting with monthly loan draw processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
• **General Ledger Maintenance:** Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• **Construction Accounting:** Monitor and report on construction project costs, budgets, and financial performance, ensuring proper allocation of expenses.
• **Monthly Loan Draws:** Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly loan drawing requests, coordinating with project managers and financial institutions.
• **Account Reconciliation:** Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• **Month-End and Year-End Close:** Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are completed and documented appropriately.
• **Audit Support:** Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights to auditors.
• **Compliance and Controls:** Ensure adherence to GAAP, industry regulations, and company policies, recommending improvements to internal controls as needed.
